A finished project!

23 Feb

This has actually been done for a few days now but motherhood called and I was unable to get a decent photo at night. It’s a hexagon holder pouch. I absolutely love it because I can take it everywhere!

This is the inside. There are 8 pockets total.

And the back. My needle got stuck on that corner on the left so there’s a group of stitches. Next time I might use my walking foot. I got the tutorial for this little pouch here. I really am in love with her quilts, fabric, and blog!

Yesterday was a disaster because both boys had/still have fevers. I barely made it through the day. Today was a little easier. The hubby was at the preschool participating until 12:30 and I was home with the sick boys. I did however manage to get all the house work done and almost all of the laundry folded and put away except for one load. After spending two days with two sick boys, I am ready to get a break at work tomorrow lol.

You should! It was pretty easy, one recommendation I have if you haven’t done hexies yet, is to use gray thread. I found that using off white or really any color other than gray or brown show through to the front.
