Camera Case Wristlet

11 Jun

I am on a roll!! I really don’t know what’s gotten into me but I seem to be finishing project after project. Could be because the boys have been playing together so well the last few days or I’m just plain inspired! Whatever it is I don’t want it to stop. A couple of weeks ago I bought a pattern from Michelle for a little camera case wristlet and after reading it a few times and working up the courage to sew one up (the darts on the pattern scared me) I finally did it. I finished it in about an hour after I had all my pieces cut and prepped.

I could not be happier with how it turned out! This is the first time I am happy with how my curves turned out too, those pesky curves have been my kryptonite. It fits my little point and shoot nicely with plenty of room for my phone and a few little extras. The pocket in the back is deep enough to hold credit cards and money and the strap insures that it stays closed. I love this so much and am thinking these would be perfect when going out instead of lugging around a purse. This pattern came with a selling license so you better believe I will be making some of these to sell. Michelle’s pattern was so easy to follow along and was written so that I had absolutely no questions about what I was doing. I will definitely be buying more of her patterns in the future, especially since they are nice and affordable! This was a semi retired pattern so it was only $3! What?! I’m so in love!

Thank you! I got the fabric at Joann’s, it’s one of those Quilter’s Showcase prints that I had gotten awhile ago while it was on sale. It’s one of my favorites.

Thanks Rosie!! Not my idea though, I bought the pattern then sewed it up myself! 🙂 I love that every time I sew something I learn something new!
