A little more vintage in my life

18 Jul

While the kids are playing in their room somewhat nicely I thought i’d get out my camera and use the sun coming in through the windows to snap some pictures of my 4th of July bracelet I hadn’t posted yet, and what I received in the mail today.

This took about an afternoon to make as I was constantly starting and stopping to tend to the needs of the boys. I’ve started another bracelet I hope to have finished today. And here is what came in the mail today

Two more Vintage Modern charm packs and 6 Vintage Modern mini charm packs. I realized after buying my first Charm Pack that I needed more than one if I wanted to make something larger than a crib size and I discovered mini charm packs at the Fat Quarter Shop while placing my order for the Charm Packs and decided on buying 6 since they were only $3.60 when buying at least 6. I really do love this fabric line and can’t wait to finish my current quilt so I can use these!

Since I was taking pictures I decided to take snap one of the other crayon roll I made the other night.

I really do love the way the ribbon looks and I think it’s easier for little hands to open. I’m hoping I get the time today to start cutting fabric to make some more of these, fingers crossed. But first, I need to get some more laundry in and start lunch, I had no idea it was already noon!

Pretty bracelet! Any chance you have a Vintage Mini Charm pack left to buy?
